Whether you are a toddler, juvenile or adult, the swimming pool provides a fun-filled way to cool off and enjoy those warm summer months. Add some pool toys and games and you will be the hit of your neighborhood.

A must have for every swimming pool is a collection of floaters. There are numerous inflatable lounge chairs, balls, and toys. Imagine having a giant inflatable turtle that the kids can ride on? Maybe, you would rather relax on a floating chair, complete with pad and cup holder. Nylon noodles and kick boards are always a hit. Collect them in a variety of colors and certainly make your swimming pool come alive.

Pool toys & games do not have to be costly. You can get a game of floating tic-tac-toe or table tennis going at an affordable price. How about tossing around a musical hot potato? Talk about bringing back the classics! Do not forget the diving toys. There are diving rings, rockets and creatures of every type. Some have built in weights and sinkers. Others are battery powered and progress in many directions keeping even the best of swimmers busy for hours.

A combination of battery operated toys is another exciting addition to any pool. Try a few mechanical fish, turtles and boats. If you truly want the pool to yourself for a minute, a motorized shark will have everyone running for the deck! Nothing like turning your backyard pool into a real live ocean.

Be sure to light up your swimming pool for those nighttime swimmers. From floating candles and glow in the dark fountains to a complete underwater light display, there is always something to "brighten" the evening.

Having to put away the pool toys and games at the end of the season is the hardest part all!
