Underwater Camera - Vivitar Amphibia

Vivitar has packed a focus-free, motorized, point & shoot camera into a watertight outer shell that can be submerged to depths of 25m (82 feet). Seaside explorers and snorkelers can enjoy their explorations with greater freedom, and return with fantastic photos.

The Amphibia is comprised of two main components: the camera, and the watertight housing. The camera is a focus-free point & shoot with auto flash, red-eye reduction, & motorized film advance & rewind. Take it out of the outer shell when you simply want a handy general use camera.

The outer hard shell case features a locking dial on the door so that it cannot be opened by accident. Rubber gaskets ensure a watertight seal. It also includes a macro lens attachment for shooting objects as close as 2 feet away and an underwater sports viewfinder for times when diving masks interfere with the regular viewfinder. The shutter button can be locked, the flash disabled, and the macro lens attached all without opening the case.
